Kremlin explains decision to classify procurements of Federal Protective Service, Russian National Guard with state secrets

MOSCOW. Nov 3 (Interfax) - The activities of the Russian National Guard and the Federal Protective Service constitute a state secret, which is why it has been decided to classify information about their procurements, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Journalists asked Peskov on Wednesday why the Russian National Guard and the Federal Protective Service have been allowed not to disclose information about their procurements.

"This is a matter of specialized agencies, so of course this constitutes a state secret, which is why such information must be classified," Peskov said.
