MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - A Syrian army serviceman has been injured during an attack by militants on the positions of government forces in the Idlib province, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Rear Adm. Vadim Kulit said at a press briefing on Sunday.
"Over the past day, four attacks coming from positions of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group [also known as Jabhat Fatah ash-Sham, banned in Russia] have been recorded in the Idlib de-escalation area, two attacks in the Aleppo province and two in the Idlib province. A terrorist sniper fired from the Fatterah area at the positions of government forces near Milaja in the Idlib province, inflicting an injury on a Syrian soldier," Kulit said.
The Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria urges the commanders of illegal armed units to abstain from armed provocations and to take the path of peaceful settlement in the areas they control.
