YEREVAN. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani troops on Monday opened fire on civilians who were working on the waterway near the city of Shusha, killing one person and wounding several, the National Security Service of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has said.
"The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh [Armenian name for Nagorno-Karabakh] has received information today that shots were fired in the direction of civilians who were working on the waterway from the Azerbaijani side near a crossroad near the city of Shushi around 3:00 p.m. Four people were hospitalized in Stepanakert, one of them died and the other three are receiving assistance," the report said.
