ROSTOV-ON-DON. Feb 21 (Interfax) - More than 61,000 residents of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics have crossed into Russia, acting Russian Emergency Situations Minister Alexander Chupriyan told reporters.
"As a result of work done overnight, the number of people arriving from the two neighboring regions of Ukraine has grown to 61,000," Chupriyan said.
Nine trains departed for other regions of Russia over the day, he said.
