DONETSK. Feb 21 (Interfax) - More than 21,000 people have been left without drinking water in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) due to shelling, the DPR Emergencies Ministry said.
"Due to intensive artillery shelling [...], more than 21,000 residents of Dokuchayevsk and Yelenivka, and over 50 social facilities were left without water. These are boiler houses, hospitals, kindergartens and schools," the press service for the DPR Emergencies Ministry said in a statement released on Monday.
As reported, rescuers organized water supply by tank trucks.
