MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russia should negotiate directly with the United States, while NATO and the European Union will do what Washington tells them to do, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.
"I'd like also to stress what we're talking about: We're negotiating with NATO, we're negotiating with the OSCE, and we're negotiating with the European Union and the leaders of European countries. We should negotiate with the U.S. All the rest will do what the U.S. tells them to do. Including NATO, the OSCE, the EU, and so on. Therefore, the main negotiator with whom we should deal is the States," Patrushev said at a Russian Security Council meeting on Wednesday.
