MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russia should inform foreign governments of its position on the Ukraine conflict issue, and, in the absence of any movement forward, recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics (DPR and LPR), Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"I consider it necessary, of course, to make our position known, if you want to catalyze this and, should there be no movement forward, to recognize the LPR and DPR," Mishustin told the Security Council meeting chaired by President Vladimir Putin on Monday, when asked by the latter whether he backed the DPR and LPR requests for recognition.
