Luhansk confirms head of LPR mission in JCCC injured in car explosion

MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) has confirmed that the head of the LPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) has been injured in an explosion of his car.

"A car has exploded at the parking lot outside the building; it was an assassination attempt on the head of the mission, he and his driver were injured," a representative of the LPR militia told the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television channel.

No one else was hurt in the blast, the representative said.
