Over 11,000 Donbas refugees already sent from Rostov region to 11 other Russian regions by rail - authorities

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia's Rostov region is continuing to accept civilians being evacuated from the Luhansk (LPR) and Donetsk (DPR) People's Republics, and over 7,000 such people are currently staying at temporary shelters in the region, the press service for the regional governor said.

"As of the morning on February 22, there are more than 7,000 refugees, among them 3,200 children, at 118 temporary shelters in the Rostov region. As of 8:00 a.m., over 11,000 people, including 4,888 children, have been sent on 14 trains to 11 other Russian regions," the press service said.
