Russian forces aren't using missiles, aviation, or artillery against Ukrainian cities - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 24 (Interfax) - Russian forces are not using missiles or artillery against Ukrainian citizens or the civilian population, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"The Russian Armed Forces are not delivering missile, aviation or artillery strikes on Ukrainian cities. Precision-guided weapons belonging to the Russian Armed Forces are disabling nothing but military infrastructure, air defense systems, military airfields and aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Konashenkov said.

"There is no threat to the civilian population," he said.
