Tokayev, Macron discuss situation in Eurasia over phone

NUR-SULTAN. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has had a telephone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, the press service for the Kazakh leader said.

The call took place at the initiative of the French side. The parties discussed bilateral economic and investment cooperation, as well as the situation in Eurasia. The presidents agreed to maintain regular working contacts, the press service said.

Tokayev had a telephone call with European Council President Charles Michel on Saturday, it said.
