Second round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations starts in Belarus

MOSCOW/KYIV. March 3 (Interfax) - A Russian and a Ukrainian delegation have started the second round of negotiations in Belarus.

"The second round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations has begun in the Brest region of Belarus," the Belarusian state news agency BelTA said, quoting its correspondent on Thursday.

Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the chief of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, also announced the start of the second round of negotiations with Russian representatives.

"Started talking to Russian representatives," Podolyak wrote on Twitter.

The Ukrainian delegation is insisting on three conditions at the talks, namely "1. Immediate ceasefire 2. Armistice 3. Humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians from destroyed or constantly shelled villages/cities," he said.
