BELGOROD. March 23 (Interfax) - A shell flew from Ukraine into a village in Russia's Belgorod region, injuring some people, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"There was an incident: a shot was fired from Ukraine in our direction. The shell exploded in a village. Some people have been injured and are now receiving all necessary assistance. For the safety of the residents of Zhuravlyovka and Nekhoteyevka, the Belgorod regional administration is imposing a state of emergency in these two villages," Gladkov wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.
Information about the condition of the injured will be provided later, he said.
