MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russia's Aerospace Forces destroyed dozens of military installations during the special military operation in Ukraine on Thursday, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"During the day, our tactical-operations aircraft struck 28 Ukrainian military installations, including four command posts, three field rocket and artillery depots, four fuel storage depots and six sites holding concentrations of Ukraine's military hardware," Konashenkov told a briefing on Thursday.
The Russian "air defense weapons hit a Ukrainian [Mil] Mi-24 in mid-air 30 kilometers west of Izyum and four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles [UAVs] near Tamarino, Lysychansk and Volnovakha," he said.
"In total, 124 aircraft and 80 helicopters, 345 UAVs, 1,826 tanks and other fighting armored vehicles, 195 multiple rocket launchers, 766 howitzers and mortar launchers, and 1,704 special military automobiles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation," he said.
