MOSCOW. April 1 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has released footage of a cruise missile launched from a Bastion coastal-defense system against a Ukrainian army command post.
The video shows the launch of the missile during daytime on Friday.
"The Russian Armed Forces carrying out the special military operation have launched another precision strike against a command post of a grouping of Ukrainian troops. The operators of a Bastion coastal-defense missile system launched an Oniks high-precision missile from the Black Sea coast and destroyed the post," the ministry stated.
Earlier on Friday, the ministry's spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said that Oniks missiles had eliminated a headquarters of a Ukrainian military group near Shakhterkoye in the Donetsk region.
