MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - More than 123,000 people have been evacuated from Mariupol without the Ukrainian authorities' participation since the start of the special operation, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said at a meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths.
"More than 123,000 people were rescued through just the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol eastward without the Ukrainian authorities' participation," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a report.
