DONETSK. May 5 (Interfax) - As many as 536 persons, including 64 children, have been evacuated to the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from Mariupol over the past day, the DPR territorial defense headquarters said in a statement on Thursday.
"Over the past day, from 8 a.m. on May 4 till 8 a.m. on May 5, 536 people, including 64 children, were evacuated from Mariupol to Bezymenne in the Novoazovsk district," the headquarters said.
A total of 27,818 persons were evacuated to the DPR from Mariupol between March 5 and May 5.
