MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - The land territory of the Crimean Peninsula and the Crimean Bridge are reliably protected by air defense systems, and nothing threatens them in a military sense, head of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov said on the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel on Monday.
"The whole territory is protected," Aksyonov said. "Concerning the Crimean Bridge, I can say that there are more than enough of air defense assets," he said.
"From the air defense standpoint, the entire land part of the peninsula is protected to the maximum, including the Crimean Bridge. Nothing threatens anyone here," he said.
