Russian Defense Ministry says 3 Ukrainian army command posts destroyed over past day

MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry has said that strikes have been carried out against three Ukrainian Armed Forces command posts, including those in the Kharkiv region, over the past day.

"Three command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including that of the 14th Mechanized Brigade near Kamenna Yaruha in the Kharkiv region, have been destroyed over the past day," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Lieut. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on Tuesday.

Russian troops destroyed a command and observation post of a battalion of the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade in the settlement of Poltavka, Zaporizhzhya region, as well as 52 artillery units, troops and military hardware of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 161 areas, he said.

"A launcher of a Ukrainian Buk-M1 air defense missile system was destroyed near Hryhorivka in the Donetsk People's Republic," Konashenkov said.
