Russia's Rostov region takes in over 15,500 Donbas residents in past 24 hours - FSB

ROSTOV-ON-DON. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Over 15,500 people have arrived in the Rostov region from Donbas over the past 24 hours, the Federal Security Service's (FSB) regional border office said on Tuesday.

"Over 15,500 people have crossed into Russia through border crossing points in the Rostov region over the past 24 hours," it said.

As reported earlier, the Rostov region had absorbed over 120,000 residents of Donbas over the previous week, including more than 16,500 over the previous 24 hours alone.
