Temporary mobilization post to be deployed in Astrakhan region on Russian-Kazakh border

ASTRAKHAN. Sept 29 (Interfax) - The Astrakhan regional authorities are planning to deploy a temporary post for partial mobilization on the Russian-Kazakh border, the regional governor's press service said.

"A temporary post for partial mobilization will be deployed on the border with Kazakhstan in the coming days, and mobilization papers will be issued there," the press service said.

The main motor checkpoint on the Russian-Kazakh border, Karauzek, is located in the Krasnoyarsky district of the Astrakhan region. Cars belonging to Russians wishing to leave the country have formed multi-kilometer lines there.
