YEISK, Krasnodar territory. Oct 18 (Interfax) - Rescue teams have discovered the body of a 14th person while clearing up the rubble of an apartment block in Yeisk in the Krasnodar territory into which a military plane crashed on Monday evening, the local emergency response service said.
"The body of a 14th dead person was found while clearing up the rubble," it said.
Krasnodar territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed the discovery of another dead person.
"The rescuers working at the crash site have discovered another dead person while clearing up the rubble. The tragedy has claimed the lives of 14 people. I offer my sincere condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the dead," Kondratyev wrote on Telegram.
A Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed in Yeisk on the evening of October 17, setting fire to a nine-story apartment building. The pilots ejected.
The latest updates put the death toll from the incident at 14. Another 19 people were injured.
