MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - This year's training exercise of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's (CSTO) peacekeeping forces originally planned to take place in Armenia may be held in other countries, the CSTO Joint Staff said.

"The Joint Staff of the CSTO is drawing up proposals regarding the possibility of holding such an exercise in the territory of other CSTO member states and is specifying the plan for the joint training of command centers, forces and means of the CSTO collective security system in 2023," it said.

"The Joint Staff of the CSTO has received information from the Defense Ministry of Armenia about the inexpediency of holding the CSTO peacekeeping forces' exercise in the territory of Armenia in 2023," it said.
