MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Russian forces have taken control of the village of Lobkovoye in the Zaporozhye theater of operations, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"In the Zaporozhye sector, successful offensive actions by units of the Eastern Military District resulted in liberating the community of Lobkovoye in the Zaporozhye region," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Friday.
Russian forces also destroyed a hangar with weapons and military hardware of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region, he said.
"A U.S.-made AN/TPQ-37 counterbattery radar was destroyed near Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region," Konashenkov said.
The Ukrainian forces have lost a total of 90 people killed and wounded, as well as four armored vehicles, three automobiles, and an Akatsiya, a D-20, and a D-30 howitzer, in said area over the past 24 hours, he said.
"In the Kherson theater of operations, an American M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery system, as well as a D-30 and a Msta-B howitzer, were destroyed on firing positions as part of counterbattery warfare," he said.
