Peskov sees no practical significance in U.S. decision on sanctions on Wagner

MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - The Kremlin sees no practical significance in the recognition of the Wagner group as a criminal organization and the imposition of sanctions on it by the United States, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Asked by journalists on Monday whether the U.S. decision is of any significance to Russia, Peskov said, "I don't think that this is of any significance to our country, not to mention the Wagner PMC, in practical terms."
