U.S., NATO intend to keep protracting Ukraine conflict - Patrushev

ST. PETERSBURG. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The United States and other NATO countries are planning to protract the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.

"The way the special military operation in Ukraine is going shows that the U.S. and NATO intend to keep on making efforts to drag this military conflict out, and they've become involved in it," Patrushev said at a conference in St. Petersburg.

"Even with the conclusion of the hot phase of the conflict in Ukraine, the Anglo-Saxon world won't stop its proxy war against Russia and its allies," he said.
