Russia's Bryansk region extends high terror threat alert pending further notice

BRYANSK. Feb 3 (Interfax) - The authorities of Russia's Bryansk region have again extended the high terrorist threat alert in the region, the regional government's press service said on Friday.

"A high (yellow) terrorist threat alert was introduced across the territory of the Bryansk region at 2:00 p.m. on February 3, 2023. An announcement about the lifting of the terrorist threat alert will be made in due course," the press service said.

The high level of terrorist alert was declared in the Bryansk region on April 11, 2022 and has repeatedly been extended for 15-day periods since then.
