MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Russian forces have hit Ukrainian army positions in the Kupyansk, Krasny Liman, Donetsk, southern Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson sectors, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"In the Kupyansk sector, attack planes, army aviation and artillery of the western group of forces hit troops and hardware of units of the 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Ivanovka and Berestovoye in the Kharkov region and Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People's Republic," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Tuesday.
"In this area, the enemy lost over 50 Ukrainian troops, two armored combat vehicles, four trucks and a D-30 howitzer over the past day," he said.
Ukrainian army positions were also hit in the Krasny Liman, Donetsk, southern Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson sectors, Konashenkov said.
