YEREVAN. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Yerevan and Baku have managed to start reconciling their positions on certain issues in the course of peace treaty negotiations, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.
"About ten to 15 days ago, we received another answer from Azerbaijan to our recent proposals. I'd rather not disclose their content, as this is a matter of details and it would be inexpedient to do so from the political angle," Mirzoyan said at a joint press conference with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic-Radman in Yerevan on Wednesday.
The stances are either being reconciled or remain unchanged at the negotiations, he said.
"We have managed to bring our positions closer to one another on certain issues. Still, the Armenian side has matters of principle in this process," Mirzoyan said.
According to him, Yerevan is discussing Azerbaijan's answer. "This shows that the negotiating process is not standing still. We will present our response to the Azerbaijani side once the discussion is over," he said.
