STAVROPOL. Feb 8 (Interfax) - A counterterrorist operation regime has been imposed within the village of Petrovsky in the Sovetsky municipal district in the Stavropol territory, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) department for the Stavropol territory said.
"To prevent and solve an act of terrorism, the chief of the FSB department for the Stavropol territory has decided to conduct a counterterrorist operation within the boundaries of the hamlet of Petrovsky in the Sovetsky municipal district of the Stavropol territory and impose a counterterrorist operation regime there while it is being conducted," it said.
The regime was formally imposed at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on February 8, it said.
