Nord Stream blasts remain on Russian law enforcement agencies' agenda - Peskov

MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax) - No one has contacted Russia following press reports on the involvement of the United States and Norway in the blasts on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, yet the issue remains on the agenda of Russian law enforcement agencies, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Journalists asked Peskov on Thursday whether Moscow had been approached in connection with the reports and whether the Russian authorities were ready to initiate an international investigation. "No, it has not been approached," he said.

"Russia has taken numerous energetic efforts in recent months to be able to participate in the investigation and receive any kind of additional information," Peskov said.

Nonetheless, Russia intends to continue highlighting the issue, Peskov said. "Unfortunately, all our attempts have been rejected and we have not received access to information, while, of course, our respective services keep this item on their working agenda," he said.
