Pashinyan discusses Lachin corridor with Russian Foreign Ministry special rep

YEREVAN. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Igor Khovayev, Russian Foreign Ministry special representative for normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, discussed the settlement of relations between Yerevan and Baku.

"The sides addressed the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh caused by the illegal blocking by Azerbaijan of the Lachin corridor and steps to resolve it. The Armenian prime minister emphasized another fact of Azerbaijan's violation of the November 9, 2020 trilateral statement, as well as the need for full observance of the obligations envisaged by the statement," the Armenian government's press service said.

Pashinyan and Khovayev discussed the possibilities of settling relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and issues associated with Nagorno-Karabakh.
