MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with members of the national Security Council to discuss preparations for the country's summit with Africa.
"Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov [the Russian Foreign Minister] was involved with preparations for the Russia-Africa summit and made a business trip to several Russia-friendly countries, so we will ask him to begin today with information about his business trip," Putin said.
The second Russia-Africa summit is due to be held in St. Petersburg in late July.
