MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a man with origins in Ukraine on suspicion of perpetrating a series of railroad sabotage on the orders from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the FSB public relations center said.
"The man was sent from Latvia to Russia disguised as a refugee in late November 2022 for terrorist purposes, he was tasked with legalizing himself and being naturalized by Russia," the center said in a statement seen by Interfax on Wednesday.
While in the Moscow area, the man "followed an order from his SBU curator and set fire to two alarm, centralization and automatic blocking cabinets of the Moscow Railway at nighttime."
