U.S., British, French nuclear capabilities to be counted together as 'single fist' targeting Russia - Russian Deputy FM Ryabkov (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russia will start counting nuclear capabilities of the United Kingdom and France together with the U.S. one as a single "fist," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"From the point of view of military planning and an analysis of the situation Russia has found itself in in the provision of national security, the British and French capacities cannot be neglected. From now on, it will be counted together with the American one as a single fist targeting Russia," Ryabkov told reporters.

"No contacts" are planned with the United States, France or the UK on these matters for now, he said.

Moscow will be watching strategic stability decisions made by London and Paris, "which can no longer be viewed, even hypothetically, as factors unrelated to the Russian-U.S. arms control dialogue," Ryabkov said.
