Peskov: indivisible security point in China's Ukraine plan corresponds to Russia's approach

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said in an interview published in the Izvestia newspaper on Tuesday that a point in China's peace plan for Ukraine that the security of one country cannot be ensure at the expense of another country's security corresponds to Russia's stance on this issue.

"The conceptual approach of the collective West countries, led by the United States, needs to change as regards their understanding of our country's concern about its own security and regarding the principle of security indivisibility. In other words, the security of one country cannot be ensured at the expense of another country's security," Peskov said.

"It is a very important worldview point in the Chinese plan, which of course corresponds to our approach," he added.
