Security services should use special military operation experience to enhance national security - Putin

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked Russian security services with using the experience of the special military operation to enhance national security.

"Our Armed Forces have acquired invaluable combat experience, and the FSB and other security services of ours have acquired the same experience over the past year. We also must use it to the fullest extent for enhancing national security in our country and defending the rights and freedoms of our citizens," Putin said at an expanded FSB board meeting on Tuesday.

Putin regretted casualties among security service officers. "The FSB administration must do everything to give additional support to the families of our fallen comrades-in-arms," he said.
