MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to meet with Russian Security Council members later on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The Security Council is on the president's schedule for Friday," Peskov told reporters.
The media said earlier that the Russian Security Council would convene an urgent meeting on Thursday in the wake of a terror attack in the Bryansk region. Peskov said, however, there would be no urgent meeting, as Putin "had no such plans."
Peskov said later that the Security Council meeting "would be held behind closed doors as always" and Putin might make a few opening remarks if he wishes so.
