YEREVAN. March 13 (Interfax) - Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and former NATO Secretary-General, founder of the Rasmussen Global international political consulting organization Anders Fogh Rasmussen discussed the regional situation and security at a meeting in Yerevan on Monday.
"At the guest's request, the Armenian defense minister briefed him on the latest developments in the region and the current situation," the press service for the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
Papikyan and Rasmussen also discussed certain aspects of regional security.
The delegation led by Rasmussen also met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday.
Pashinyan and Rasmussen "exchanged views on regional developments and security challenges and discussed stability and security in the South Caucasus," the Armenian government's press service said.
