Armenia does not hide from Russia its aspiration to establish military-political cooperation with other countries - Pashinyan

YEREVAN. March 14 (Interfax) - Armenia seeks to establish military-political cooperation with many countries and does not hide this aspiration from Russia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"We have problems in the security system. We have to state that the existent security architecture has not been working. Truth be told, we knew it wouldn't work," Pashinyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.

According to him, Armenia "is trying to establish military-political cooperation with many other countries."

"At least, we do not keep it a secret from our ally [Russia]," he said.

"Only peace can guarantee Armenia's security. Yet peace is possible if we manage to change and improve relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan. Does Azerbaijan want peace? No, because it asks why it needs peace if it has military superiority," Pashinyan said.
