Commander of Russian-Armenian Joint Group of Forces dismissed at Pashinyan's request

YEREVAN. March 14 (Interfax) - Commander of the Russian-Armenian Group of Forces Tigran Parvanyan has been dismissed, the Armenian presidential press service said.

"At Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's suggestion and in accordance with the law 'On Military Service and the Status of Serviceman', Tigran Parvanyan is dismissed as commander of the Joint Group of Forces," the decree signed by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan reads.

Parvanyan was appointed to the post in February 2018.
