Putin orders taking measures by April 15 to ensure 2-week leave for special military operation participants every 6 months

MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered law enforcement and security agencies to address the issue of providing a 14-day-long leave for participants in the special military operation once every six months by April 15.

"The Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian Guard, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the Russian Federal Security Service, the Russian Federal Protective Service, the Russian Interior Ministry must ensure the provision of a leave of at least 14 days at least once every six months, not including the time needed to reach the leave destination and for a return trip, to servicemen, individuals possessing special ranks, and participants in volunteer formations involved in the special military operation," the Russian president's orders following his address to the Federal Assembly, published on the Kremlin's website, said.

The deadline of the execution of this order is April 15.
