SAMARA. March 16 (Interfax) - Military reserve training sessions have begun in Russia's Penza region, with more than 140 people being called up, the Penza region's chief enlistment officer Andrei Surkov said on Thursday.
"The military training sessions have now begun. Everyone who has received summons are now taking part in the military training sessions, there are more than 140 of them," Surkov said.
The process of notification is continuing until March 17, he said. "We have called up everyone who had to be called up for [reserve] training," Surkov said. All the call-up orders dated today will be cancelled, he said.
As reported previously, the Penza region has accomplished its target under the partial mobilization.
