Moscow highly appreciates Beijing's stance on Ukraine situation, Russian, Chinese leaders to discuss that issue - presidential aide Ushakov

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russia highly appreciates the reserved, well-considered stance of the Chinese leadership on the Ukraine situation, and Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will discuss this issue at upcoming negotiations, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Of course, the conflict in Ukraine will be discussed. We highly appreciate the reserved, well-considered stance of the Chinese leadership on this matter, and we are aware of the Chinese settlement plan," Ushakov said at a press briefing on Friday.

"I am positive that both our leader and the Chinese leader will exchange views on the current situation precisely in the context of the development of the conflict in Ukraine. We shall see what ideas will emerge after that," Ushakov said.
