MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow carefully studied China's plan for Ukrainian settlement and that he is ready to discuss it with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"We have thoroughly studied your proposals on settling the acute crisis in Ukraine. Naturally, we will get an opportunity to discuss this matter," Putin said during his meeting with Xi in the Kremlin on Monday.
"We know that you proceed from the principles of equity, observance of fundamental international law provisions and indivisible security for all countries," he said.
Moscow is "always open to the negotiation process," Putin said.
