MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed China's settlement plan for Ukraine during informal talks on Monday, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"It's obvious that they discussed it. Because, if you remember, they said they would be discussing it last night. Putin said that. I won't issue judgments, let's wait for statements for the media," Peskov said in reply to a relevant question from reporters on Tuesday.
He was also asked what other matters the two leaders brought up and whether they discussed cooperation on gas and military-technical cooperation, to which the Kremlin spokesman also replied that the leaders would inform the media about this in their statements.
"Obviously, there was a very substantive exchange of opinions and a serious conversation during the informal part. I won't make any judgments now, let's wait for statements for the press from the two heads of state," he said.
Peskov was also asked whether Putin accepted Xi's invitation to a One Belt, One Road forum in China.
"Let's wait for a statement for the media," Peskov replied.
