MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and his Abkhaz counterpart Sergei Shamba had a working meeting in Moscow, at which they discussed national security of the two countries, the Russian Security Council's press service said.
"Nikolai Patrushev and Sergei Shamba discussed a number of current issues associated with ensuring national security of the two countries under the treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on alliance and strategic partnership," the press service said in a statement.
The parties also signed a cooperation plan between the Security Councils for 2023-2024, "envisaging measures to foster interaction between security agencies and law enforcement agencies."
