HELSINKI. March 23 (Interfax) - Finland has made a decision to provide another military assistance package of more than 160 million euros to Ukraine.
"The package includes three Leopard 2 tanks intended for mine clearance. Finland will also train personnel to operate them and will provide technical maintenance," Finland's Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen told Finnish media on Thursday.
Finnish President Sauli Niinisto has approved this delivery to Ukraine at the government's suggestion.
The new package, estimated at around 161 million euros, also includes heavy weapons and ammunition.
