Pashinyan confident Yerevan and Baku will sign peace treaty, will avoid new escalation

YEREVAN. March 23 (Interfax) - There will be no fresh escalation in the region, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

"There will be a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and it will be based on the joint official statements adopted at the highest level. There won't be a new escalation!," Pashinyan said on social media.

The international community must strongly support this narrative, he said.
