MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - There are no prerequisites for the resumption of Russian-U.S. dialogue on the New START Treaty, Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said.
"At this point, there are no prerequisites for the resumption of Russian-U.S. strategic stability dialogue in sight," Ulyanov said in an interview published by the newspaper Izvestia on Monday.
"The resumption of dialogue on the New START Treaty would require Washington's renouncement of the hostile policy towards Russia," he said.
"Now that the United States openly tasks the collective West with inflicting 'a strategic defeat' on our country, it is absolutely impossible to do business as usual in strategic affairs," Ulyanov said.
